We believe Agnes currently holds a unique niche within the Braintree area, offering a first class learning experience to the children it cares for. In its 40 year history St Agnes ( as was ) has provided a safe and secure environment for all of its children. The dedication of its 9 staff is reflected in the average length of service which currently stands at nearly 10 years, with 2 members of staff having in excess of 20 years service each. As a non-profit making organisation, Agnes does not have the pressures put upon private nurseries and this is reflected in the pricing structure. And finally, advertising for places at Agnes has never been necessary, as word of mouth recommendation has always ensured full capacity. Early in 2005 the owners decided to close the nursery and sell the site, as parents we did not want the nursery to close so we decided to take whatever action was necessary to keep it open. |
